WORLD YOUTH DAY and PRE-TOUR 2005

World Youth Day August 16-21 2005

The Young Adults of the South Bay Deanery (the collection of churches within the South Bay) will be involved in the Pilgrimage to see the Pope in Cologne, Germany and be a part of the WYD Activities.
Not only will we be involved in the Pilgrimage, we will also spend a week travelling from Italy (our arrival site) through Switzerland, into Germany (our departure site) as a Pre-Tour making stops at the Vatican, Zurich, Stuttgart and several other major cities and famous locations.

Cost: We have not yet acquired nor committed to a specific travel agency. Currently, we are searching for the least costing plan per person. As far as a number is concerned, we are looking at a trip cost of around $2000.00 per person (hopefully cheaper). We will fundraise!

Who can go? Unfortunately, the term "youth" in Europe represents people in the age group ranging from 18yrs to about 35yrs. As we will be travelling abroad, any youth under the age of 18yrs must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
